The 7th Annual Australian Islamic Schooling Conference (AAISC7), titled, Islamic Worldview: Renewing Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment – will be held in Brisbane, in mid-August.
And Invictus Solutions is proud to announce its continued support as a Platinum partner for this prestigious event.
The conference is again being organised by the Centre of Islamic Thought and Education (CITE) at the University of South Australia, in collaboration with the Islamic Schools Association of Australia (ISAA) and is dedicated to exploring, discussing and sharing academical research, practical insights and school-based examples related to all aspects of Islamic schooling.
Each year, the conference venue rotates between states and in August 2023, nearly 400 school leaders, teachers, and educators gathered at Minaret College in Springvale, Melbourne.
This year, the event will be held at the Islamic College of Brisbane in Karawatha on Saturday, August 17, and Sunday, August 18.
“Invictus Solutions was proud to be a Platinum sponsor of this exceptional forum last year and we are again excited to be onboard in 2024,” says Dean Mousad.
“School and educational workshops have become a vital part of the many services that our rapidly-growing company provides to the community, and we now travel all over Australia to deliver these workshops to young Muslims at various Islamic schools and institutions.”
“At last year’s conference, we were able to mix with many educators who provided us with some important data which is assisting us to further enhance these workshops.”
“When given the opportunity for Invictus Solutions to become a Platinum sponsor of the Conference last year, I really jumped at the chance and for me to support the event similarly in 2024 was a no-brainer as this is the kind of event that I am proud to have my company’s name associated with.”
Over the two days, conference attendees will have the chance to listen to thought-provoking presentation from academics, scholars, school leaders, teachers and policy makers.
The conference will feature four keynote speakers: Dr. Samir Mahmoud (Academic Director of Usul Academy), Dr. Farah Ahmed (Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellow at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge), Dr. Claire Alkouatli (Lecturer with the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education, UNISA), and Assoc. Prof. Nadeem Memon (Senior Research Fellow and Program Director for Islamic Education at CITE, UNISA).
Additionally, the conference also boasts a diverse line-up of highly qualified presenters from various fields.
Invictus Solutions’ educational workshops, which address critical real-life issues faced by multiple stakeholders, are in high demand across Australia.
